Our Teachers

Welcome to Mandarin Kids!

We’re excited to announce our staff teachers for the 2011/2012 school year! All teachers (lao shi) bring a wealth of experience and passion for teaching. We can’t wait for you to see them in action!

Our Chinese teachers are native speakers who are well versed in Chinese culture. At the same time, they’re trained to teach in the “American style,” which encourages student participation, individual expression, and creativity.

Our program emphasizes daily Chinese conversation practice, character reading and writing, and culture awareness, which builds solid language skills and gives our students the opportunity to explore. We also employ a team teaching technique, which enables teachers to target specific learning styles in small groups and one on one.
