Curriculum


3 Year Olds

This class is offered with options of 2 days (Tue, Thur), 3 days (MWF) and 5 days (M-F). AM class hours are 8:30-11:30. PM class hours are 12:30-3:30. Full day class hours are 8:30am-3:30pm. Students must be 3-years-old by September 1st, and they also need to be potty trained to attend.

This is the best age to start a second language. Children will learn to:

  • Express wants and needs and carry on basic conversations with teachers and other students in Chinese.
  • Follow the teacher's instructions and the school daily routine.
  • Become more independent and responsible.
  • Use appropriate social and school behaviors when interacting with other children.
  • Develop fine-motor skills, learning cutting, pasting, coloring and playing with small objects. This will prepare for later writing success.
  • Participate in group games, which will help them build listening and speaking skills in Chinese.
  • Recognize the numbers, colors, and shapes and be able to count to 10 in Chinese.
  • Sort and match objects. Develop mathematics skills.

    • Stories, songs, poems, and rhymes give a wide range of vocabulary. Art, dance and dramatic play nurture imagination and expose children to the richness of Chinese culture and characters.
