Overall, we are enjoying exposing our daughter to the language. We enjoy seeing the teachers teaching everyone equally - which I find difficult to do because of the age differences. However, the teachers are great!

I would like to extend my thanks to your school and especially to teacher Luoh. Before attending Oregon Hope Chinese school, Henry can only write 3 Chinese characters. Now he not only can read and write all Chinese characters that he learnt from his textbook, he also shows interest in reading Chinese storybooks! Teacher Luoh provided significant guidance and extensive knowledge to students. I am very pleased with my son's progress.

Li Lao Shi is a very nice teacher, she is an experienced teacher, students are inspired to learn Chinese in her class, I heard many rumors about how hard Ma Li Ping Chinese was Before the class, and was intimidated for a while, I was really surprised to see how much Breanna likes to do homework at home.

To my wife and I, the Chinese school represents more than a weekend leisure activity for our children. It represents our efforts to have our children develop an appreciation for their cultural heritage and a sense of belonging to a community.

My children have been learning Chinese language at OHCS since 2006. They have been very fortunate to have an opportunity to learn Chinese at elementary level.

No one in our family speaks Chinese, but for the past year, my daughter has attended Saturday classes at Oregon Hope Chinese School. I believe OHCS fills a unique and worthwhile role in our community. It is the only program I have found where there is a consistent, progressive path of study for kids who want to learn Chinese.
